Ladybird ladybird, fly away home...

With the huge interest lately in LADYBUG parties, and to compliment my {DIY Ladybug Invitation} and {DIY Ladybug Party Pack}, I have collected some ladybug party inspiration photos. I hope that all of those undertaking this theme will find something sueful in this lot (all photos courtesy of etsy.com)...

Ned's Dinosaur Party- part 1

Yesterday was finally the day of Ned's 4th Birthday Party- the dinosaur party.

We had a small gathering for lunch and cooked up a storm.

The birthday boy had a blast of a day and just loved his cake!

The highlight of the day I think was the dinosaur treasure hunt. I made up a treasure hunt for the backyard which was given to the kids in a bucket (which doubled as favours for the parties, along with all of the goodies they collected).

We kicked it off with making dinosaur tales first- these were a hit and all the ages there could do it.

Then the hunt was on! The kids collected tools for their dinosaur dig (spades, rakes), ediable dinosaur eggs (kinder suprises), dino chalk, real dinosaur eggs...

... finishing up in the sand pit for a dinosaur dig!

The food highlight of the day was certainly the dessert table- I will post more about this in detail in a new post...

Lolly Buffet Jars

Yes it is still going ahead, albeit a couple of months late!
I am refining my ideas for Molly's 2nd birthday party and have moved into lolly buffet mode.
I have started to collect some lovely jars to house all of the goodies, and am forever inspired by what others have done out there in www world.

Molly's Country Fair Themed Birthday Ideas

Well the preparations for Molly's 2nd birthday party are well underway, I just have to cull a few ideas that I have gathered otherwise it will take me weeks to get it all ready! So we are going with a Country Fair theme inspired by her favourite movie Babe.
